Ägretthäger (Egretta alba) – Great Egret

Temat med pausfåglar tar nu lite semester för att kanske återkomma senare. De flesta är nu mitt uppe i sina hektiska häckningsbestyr och behöver lite lugn och ro. Tack för uppmuntran att köra på detta året också. Förhoppningen är väl att intresset för fågelfotograferingen väcks till liv igen när det blivit lite svalare…..

    We’re long-time birders, so these northern European species seen here in your photos is fascinating to us. With a few exceptions, these are birds we’re not accustomed to seeing.

    I actually saw these for the first time at home. They are spreading north from southern Europe in line with climate change.
