Vad finns kvar av ett land efter ett år i krig – människor och mod eller meningslöshet och massförstörelse. Byggnader kan återuppstå men de som återvänder är inte desamma som innan.

LIV I FRI LUFT 
Omöjligt att ens föreställa sig. I min släkt har vi det, morfar som flykting, beskjuten, och farbröder och morbröder som deltagit i krig. Aldrig någonsin nämndes något om vad de upplevt, utom när mamma berättade hur bomberna föll i Helsingfors och hur hon som barnflicka evakuerades med familjens barn.

The photo above is really beautiful and full of emotion. It’s so stupid, what’s happening in Ukraine. My twin grandsons were six months old on 24 Feb – they were born six months after the war started to my son and his Ukrainian partner. She came here a long time ago but she was born there and still knows people there. What kind of a world were the little twins born into? One where they will need the outdoors, they will need ti very much!
