Om det är av naturhänsyn eller bara Rambergets branter som omöjliggjort avverkning vet jag inte. Oavsett orsaken till att de högresta och kvistrika granarna fått stå kvar så känns det som att de har haft ett gott liv och fått ett värdigt slut. Omgiven av unga och gamla granar, ståtliga tallar och lövsläktingar som al, asp och björk, kan söderbranten med alla dess invånare få återbörda en åldergran på sitt sätt, nedbäddad i mjuk mossa vid sista vilan.

The translation isn’t quite right but I really like your words and your way of describing the dignified end of the tree’s life, resting on the moss. We see many, many trees come down and slowly decompose in our woods, too. Because I came from a different part of the US, at first I thought it was strange to see so many fallen trees. The forests looked almost messy. Now I understand and appreciate it. I see deep appreciation here in your words and photos. Beautiful light and details.
